VDEL philosophy
VDEL brings existing and new technologies to people who do not have them at the moment, adapt them to the local requirements and present them in a new way.
In this way they can avoid the high costs and pitfalls of having solutions created for them, and at the same time benefit from the expertise of VDEL and our partners.
Milan Prohaska, the founder of VDEL is “just an ordinary guy who wants to add something new to the world of software and software distribution”.
How did we begin?
We figured out there is a big demand for this software. We then brought ERP solutions to a market that did not even know what these solutions were yet.
ERP? Resource planning accountancy, inventory control, financial control.
We took people with specific skills and put them together to create a team that could offer what our customers need most, specifically for our expansion into Eastern and Central Europe.
By employing people who have already sold the products independently products, we realised that we could help our customers deploy them faster.
There was very strong demand for these products, and our customers were very pleased to find us, and have helped us grow to where we are today
Our partners
Our partners are very important to us, as they have the best knowledge of their specific products in their specific market sectors.
This ensures that, no matter the circumstance, the customer will be provided with the best solution for them.
We can therefore concentrate on providing our sales, training and support which contribute to the full range of value added services.

Most of our customers have been from the private sector however more recently, governmental and quasi governmental departments throughout our territory have become more flexible in their thinking and have come to us for their requirements.

We don’t have any direct competition; we prefer to work with other companies and our partners to provide the best possible service. The only way we can lose it if we fail to continue to do this.

Our territory
Our territory is best described as East of Berlin, encompassing the former Warsaw Pact countries, which have undergone such tremendous changes in the past 15 years.
There is now a great atmosphere of optimism and hope in these countries.
This is matched by a desire to create a better future for everyone through developing better ways to do business rather than just by cutting costs or corners.
This visionary approach explains why at the moment this is the highest growth territory in the world. We are leading the adoption of these products and indeed of open source technologies in this territory.
